God's Plan of Salvation

“Can Jesus Christ save?”

Answer: Emphatically Yes!

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Acts 2:21) Whosoever (everyone, anyone), once they have heard the gospel of salvation, can repent and call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, manifested in flesh, and they will be saved!  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Offer of Salvation

Now, if you have not invited Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior, my prayer at this very moment is that God’s Holy Spirit will open your eyes and your heart to be receptive to His love, His forgiveness, and His plan of salvation!

Please take a moment to read the following Scriptures because it is important for you to understand that there is absolutely nothing you can do to earn salvation. It is a free gift from God, and He is waiting for YOU!

  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
  • For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
  • For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
  • Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)
  • If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins on a cross at Calvary. He physically rose from the dead, now sits at the right hand of God in heaven, and will one day return to judge the world and deliver His people. It is God who offers to you, at this moment, the free gift of salvation and eternal life, which can only come through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The truth, the unveiled reality, is that God seeks to walk in a daily, intimate relationship with you! It is simply the greatest gift in the world, and it is yours for the asking. He invites you, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

Yes, God saves. God keeps. God satisfies!

Calling on Christ involves knowing Him, trusting Him, wanting companionship with Him, depending on Him, and as evidence of our sincerity in all this, continually obeying Him! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). There is no other way that leads to salvation except through Christ!

If you would like to obtain eternal security and be brought back into a right relationship with God the Father, you must accept Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior. Just simply pray this prayer from your heart:

Prayer of Salvation

Father God, I admit to you that I am a sinner, and I confess that I have sinned. Please forgive me, and cleanse me from all my sins. I believe that Jesus is your Son and that He died on Calvary’s cross and rose from the dead for me, and I accept your gift of forgiveness through Him. I confess my faith in Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I ask Jesus to come into my heart.

Thank you, Lord, for your gift of salvation! Thank you for your love and your mercy. Amen.

Now celebrate your new life in Jesus Christ!

If you have just prayed the prayer of salvation, and meant it from your heart, and accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you are saved! Your salvation is secure, and the Bible says that nothing can separate you from the love of God: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35–39)
